Detox Istria

Detox Istria has been running Ayurvedic Panchakarma programmes from the Glavini eco estate in the heart of Istria since 2015 – a five-thousand-year-old healing tradition practised on a hillside of olive groves. We created the visual identity as the creative partner of the SvePET agency.

The brief carried a quiet tension: how to give ancient wisdom a mark with genuine credibility, without slipping into the “new age” register the programme deliberately avoids. We found the answer in Ayurveda’s own botany. The symbol is drawn from Sadabahar (Catharanthus roseus, the periwinkle) – one of the tradition’s medicinal plants – whose five petals gave us exactly what the philosophy needed.

Each petal became one of the five elements. All five are equal in the constellation, interconnected, and meeting at a single point of origin at the centre. Read in pairs, the same petals form the three doshas: vata, pitta, and kapha – so the mark holds the entire system in one flower. A whole philosophy, legible before a word is read.
